With more than a half-million acres under management, The Westervelt Company collaborates with state and local government agencies to ensure that our forest management activities comply with all state and federal regulations.

The Westervelt Company is committed to the implementation and maintenance of the Forest Stewardship Council ®(FSC), the Sustainable Forestry Initiative®(SFI), and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification standards.

SFI® is dedicated to promoting sustainable forest management.

The Forest Stewardship Council's (FSC®) mission is to promote environmentally sound, socially beneficial, and economically prosperous management of the world's forests.

PEFC maintains comprehensive databases to ensure easy access to relevant information about certificate holders, logo & label users, certified products, accredited certification bodies, and PEFC-endorsed national certification schemes.
